But I don't have a hire car option on my insurance policy?
Not to worry.
If you’re not at fault in an accident with another vehicle, it’s your legal right to be put back into the position you were in prior to the accident. This means being provided with an accident loan car similar to your own while your car is being repaired, or until your total loss settlement is confirmed.
How much do I pay for the hire?
Nothing, the hire cost is recouped by us from the at-fault insurer. Understandably you are responsible for any incidental costs such as tolls and/or fines.
Why haven't I heard of this?
